Manga Edition - we love it!

A few weeks ago we went to Berlin on the MEX for a Sunday trip. The Manga and Entertainment Expo. Lots of costumes, extraordinary impressions, art, books, characters, delicious food and special and interesting characters who were really super friendly without exception. But we were particularly interested in the artists. Because of course - how could it be otherwise - the next cool idea was buzzing around in Tony's head. A manga edition, who would have thought? One artist in particular appealed to him »Psychomize«, the young lady from Dresden convinced him with color and demeanor. After we contacted her, she immediately agreed to participate in our project. We liked the idea of including your own mascot right away. The saccharine colors and the story fit the theme so well. We really had absolutely nothing to complain about. She did it really well. Thank you so much, dear Elisabeth :)

What actually is a manga?

The (or that?) Manga is the Japanese term for comics and represents an important part of the literature and media landscape in Japan. Not only is the manga market the world's largest comic market, its roots also go back to the Middle Ages. Today's form, however, is essentially influenced by western influences and since the 1990s, manga, alongside anime and computer games, have been a successful cultural export from Japan

Who is actually psychomiez?

Behind psychomized hides a super nice lady from Dresden, who goes by the name Elisabeth. She completed her master's degree in media design / media art in 2016 and has been working as a graphic designer ever since. During her studies, she focused in particular on the topics of animation, conception and storytelling. To this day, she wants to tell a story with her works and pictures, and she did just that fantastically for us! Please be sure to check out her page to learn more about this talented artist.

Manga Edition and Other Slime Sets

The idea hasn't been thought through to the end yet, that's for sure. There's something else to come. Maybe another comic? Maybe labels designed by children? Graphic novel or a photocomic? If and when there will be special slime editions in the shop is not yet certain, only that there will be. Slime-Sets have recently enjoyed increasing popularity. We are still unsure whether we should reduce them to a certain number and then change them again and again, so that you simply always have something new to discover in our slime shop, or whether we should simply continue to expand our product range. I guess we'll make that dependent on how much you like the slime sets or if you eventually tire of them.

Winter greetings from the Hanover region, Tanja
